after
Dawn was breaking. The sun was rising, sending streaks of orange and red across the sky. Birds were chirpping in a cheerful tune. Even the toads in the pond were croacking and the tortoise were swimming around joyfully.

But they had a choice of where to go. The birds could fly anywhere they wanted, the toads could jump out of the pond if they wanted and the tortoise could climb out of the shallow pools if they wanted.

Kenesiera had no where to go. In her mind, there was only such a small room. In her thoughts, there was only one place to go. In her brain, there was only one thing that processed through to do.

But her mind was fighting.

She was tired. She wanted to stop. She wanted everything to end.

Yet, everything just went on.
