lost

the air seemed still around me.
the atmosphere so unmoving.
the sun didnt seem to give off warmth.
the moon didnt seem to give me light.
the stars didnt twinkle like what they used to be.
the songs blasted out of the radio didnt seem to get into me.
only that clause did.

clueless.
melted down.
drowned.

only a sunrise can save me.
only the light on the moon can revive me.
only the twinkle of stars can give me hope.

i am lost.
like a sailor without a compass.
a blind man without his stick.
i no longer have a sense of direction.
i am like a candle without its flame.
a star robbed of its light.
i no longer have hope, no longer have dreams.
