softball camp
went to softball camp yesterday.. it's only a day camp la.. but it was really fun.. =) i like the worship game and the pole thing. hahas. i like tht rearranging ourselves on tht bench thing too. lol.. so let me just go through the activities one by one first.
first thing in the morning we had the pole thing la.. whereby all of us surround the pole and use only one finger per person, placed under the pole (not hook it... just place it under the pole) and all of us have to lower it without the pole losing contact with anyboady.. we did it within 1min plus. then we have to lower it without talking. cool. we did it within 2 min plus. then came the fun part where we had to blindfold ourselves and we lower it tgt... we did tht in 5min plus. lolx.. den some more ppl lose contact of the pole and had no idea where it went to cos we could not see. hahas.
next we played the sitting on the laps thing. tht was the one which we did during the adventure camp. hahas. we could hold on no problem cos we trust each other enough to sit on their laps.. however when we tried to improve it we could not hold on as much cos i think perhaps there was pressure to do better than the first attempt. but in the end we all managed to hold on till 2 mins... hahas.. during the camp we did one. :p well done, hurricanes.
after tht we played the worhsip game i think.. if i am not wrong ba. hahas. i dunno how to explain the game but in the end we would lie flat on the ground looking as if we were worshipping the game master. lolx. and the game master was bel. hahas. first time i worship ppl leh. havent even worship harry and the first one was my mei.. bel.. u must feel honoured kays? lolx.. i partnered with rachel.. yay!! we rock! and katherine damn pro.. last one to worship bel. lolx. yay.. we got mr chng to lie down.. whee! :p
next was the rearranging ourselves on the bench thing... first by name... then by height. i was really irritated cos i chose the front of the bench den in the end rearrange the names den i have to move all the way to the back. diaox. lolx. then from the back they rearrange according to height. and no matter how proud am i of my humble height i still have to move all the way to the front again. (i am trying to put ****t in a nicer way) lolx... den came the fun part when we have to blindfold ourselves and arrange according to our birthdates on the tables. and we were not allowed to talk. so we had to resort to writing on each other's palms. den daddy come and disturb me... but in the end i was right as i stood in front of grace who was 7 june. but i was wrong cos i stood behind xueying who was 24 june. lolx. win liao lor.. daddy come disturb me. lolx.. i dont even recall wht he wrote.. in any sense.. i could not decipher who wrote what. lolx. i only could decipher the months. den xueying wrote something june. i knew it was june.. so i stood in front of her. i didnt know who is she at first. den after tht i just moved behind. den grace wrote 7 june. den i know i was right. den when i took off the blindfold i was taken aback to see xy in front of me. hahas. lolx lor.
after tht is tht body parts game whereby we have to arrange diff body parts touching the ground.. hehex.. dunno how to explain la.. but it was fun on the whole. hahas.
den was debrief. den was lunch. lalas.. lunch was F-U-N! perhaps the bball boys laughed themselves nuts when they saw us cos during the first part of the lunch we must blindfold ourselves and tie our hands to the person next to us and feed the person next to us too. lolx... grace and i totally made a huge mess.. she used a fork and she poked me on my nose. lolx.. den after tht i knocked the food off the fork by accident. lolx.. farni la.. den i couldnt eat cos i couldnt stop laughing. lolx. i couldnt feed sixian either cos i kept laughing too. lolx... totally made a fool out of ourselves la but i like it.. who dares to sae everyone in the world has tried tht before? hahas.
after lunch played netball and then the groundsheet game.. i didnt like tht so i shall skip it. lolx. move on to the trust fall.. in class when we were practicing was all right. den we did it on the wall. scared me to death and poor grace cried. nvm la gal.. u are not the only one scared of heights. u still have me here just tht i chose to be over with it soon. lolx. daddy got hit in the mouth by yx.. poor him. lolx. cannot blame yx la... she did 5 takes means she really scared so she flung out her arms.. jiayouxx k? another one scared too.hais. at least.. WE FELL! whee! lolx.
den came the obstacle course... we had to climb the wall, do tht flip thing on the metal bar, monkey bars (which i never crossed in my whole life), 30 pull ups, 1500 push ups as a team and run up and down 5 storeys 5 times (up and down considered once)... we started with running first, den the monkey bars, den the push ups, den the flip thing, then the pull ups den the wall. i would like to declare tht i love hurricanes.. cos without them i wont be able to cross the monkey bar for the first time in my life. thanks!! muacks! :p anw.. dont worry too much ziyi.. =) so what if u cant cross the monkey bars.. tht's cos ur hand hurts when gripping the bar.. u were ever so close. u are still our beloved vice cap. u rock! and cindy.. hope ur ankle gets well soon. =)
this whole camp is really fun.. and we learnt loads... nothing is impossible.. like i thought it was impossible to cross the monkey bar. i did.. yay! and we finally found the bind among us during the obstacle course.. u guys rawkk my world. HURRICANES RULES!
